Receiver
The Online Portal of Vodafone that connects with young artists
The task:
Vodafone wanted to connect with potential customers, employees and partners who are interested in the latest trends of mobile community. At the same time the company was eager to get first experience in social media with an interested community.
The solutions:
The already excisting Vodafone online magazine "receiver" was converted into a portal. Art schools were asked to illutrate the articles written by well-known authors. At the same time the magazine opened an "Art Garden" which allowed users to uploade their own art works.
The result:
In short time the number of followers achieved 20 000. The articles were widely distributed using the hubs of the writers as well as the receiver hub. The added value of the art works helped to make the articles more interesting to a wider potential customer group.
