Belonging

All set up for the next exhibition at the Linkgallery. Madi, Lana and myself will meet this Friday and start measuring and hammering.

Lana Al-Shami has her family roots in Iraq and Madi Acharya-Baskerville is of Asian origin and spent much of her childhood there. Coming from very different cultural origins, both artists explore themes of alienation and belongingin their work.
Here in the Link Gallery Lana presents a series of her sculptures and prints exploring the notion of 'Identity' and Madi leads us through a photo documentation of the project ‘Sanctuary: home, away and common ground' which took place in Kenya last summer.
The show will run until end of March.
