The sculpture ‘123’ comes from a series of work based on making words and numbers physical. The grid, the two colours and the perspective of the viewer form letters and digits. The sculpture combines the formal language of minimalism with the digital alphabet and numerals. In doing so, the differences in our perception between seeing and reading are made apparent.
